Visualization¶
SciGlass Next uses one of the most popular open source scientific plot libraries Plotly for visualization.
Get started¶
Once there is table opened in the Detail Card (Table view), its table data can be visualized in the Detail Card (Visualization view).
Or when searching for glasses, the results can be visualized in the Result Card (Visualization view).
Basic functions¶
Below are some basic functions of the modebar of the plot:

Download plot as a png
Click on this button to download the plot (in .png format).

Zoom
Drag an area over the plot to zoom in and double-click to zoom out (reset) again.
You don't need to click on this button to zoom in unless you click on the
Pan
button before. -
Pan
Click on the button and hold the mouse over the plot to move it.

Zoom in/out
Click the button to zoom in/out gradually.
Warning
There is a bug for
Zoom out
andReset axes
for the range slider of Spectral plot. Until the bug from Plotly.js is resolved, please zoom out (reset) using double click. -
Reset axes
Click on the button to reset to initial view.

Fullscreen
Click on the button to view the plot in fullscreen mode.

Download Data
Click on the button to download the data to an Excel/CSV file in the spectral plot.
Note
Currently, only the spectral plot has the data download feature. If you need this feature for glass formation plot, please let us know.
