Glass Formation

The Glass Formation is a quick way to display tables containing ternary diagrams of glass formation in the Result Card section.

Similar to Spectral Index. You can also get these tables by selecting Glass formation in the Property Group list in Search Tables section.

Tote

Only ternary system can be visualized in the ternary diagram. If available you will see a button in the Detail Table.

Get started

  1. Click on the Glass Formation button in the sidebar
  2. You will be navigated to the Result Card section and the corresponding tables with the spectral data will be displayed.
  3. One can then select a table by clicking on the Table ID to display the corresponding table and navigate to the Detail Card section.

For example, click on the Table ID: 20956.

After that, the corresponding table is displayed, and you jump to the Detail Card section:

Click on the Glass formation data button to open the spectra plot window. (Whenever a table contains glass formation data, this button becomes visible.)

Basic functions for viewing plots such as zoom in/out, show/hide legends or show/hide lines, etc. can be found in Visualization.

Note

The hover information displayed when hovering over the data points does not contain the Glass No. As the glass formation data is not directly associated with the Glass No in the table. Most of them are generated from the figure in the orignal publication.
