Author Index

The Author Index is a simplified form of the query using a single search parameter - the name of an author. It is the equivalent of an author index in journals, handbooks, and monographs.

Get started

  1. Click on the Author index button in the sidebar
  2. A window with all author information will open
  3. The window contains two parts side by side: the left-hand side displays the list of authors of the publications stored in the SciGlass database.
  4. Clicking on an author name in the list selects the references to the publications of the author contained in the database and displays them on the right-hande side.
  5. One can then select a reference by clicking on the Table ID or References column to display the corresponding table and navigate to the Detail Card section.

You can click on the Alphabetical search: A-Z at the top left to narrow down the list of authors.

The search bar will also only search for results that begin with the letter you have selected.
